Visitors at a safari park in Guangzhou, Guangdong province, anticipated the upcoming Chinese Lunar New Year — the Year of the Rabbit — on Tuesday.
Inside Guangzhou Chimelong Safari Park, a popular tourist destination, seven generations of koalas — 66 animals — climbed trees and were photographed with patrons.
The first generation of koalas in the park was introduced from Australia. Long-nosed monkeys, pandas, tigers, golden monkeys and other animals joined the celebration.
The park will open a new exhibition area, where rabbits of different colors from various places will greet tourists during the Spring Festival holiday, which begins on January 22.
