"There is no urinal in the men's toilet. It is bizarre. "
"The paths are uneven. Many seniors have fallen down."
"I am wondering what was in the designers' heads? "
Collecting such harsh criticisms is part of the everyday job for 61-year-old Li Caixian, the head of a "courtyard meeting room" in Beijing's Caochang community.
The complaints came when Li visited a courtyard to solicit opinions and suggestions from denizens.
The "courtyard meeting room" is a self-governance organization for local residents, which is largely composed of retirees who are keen on public affairs.
