Pan-roasted Australian salmon paired with beluga golden caviar, creamy crab bisque with snow peas, and doughy white chocolate with fresh berries also left people with kaleidoscopic taste memories.
Some of US artist Brian Donnelly's (better known as Kaws) artworks were brought to the restaurant, adding an artistic memory to the gourmet night. A dozen of Kaws's sculptures and paintings are being showcased at Beijing Yintai Center. Titled "New Era" pop art exhibition, the show, running through Aug 31, features the famed art piece "Final Days" - carved with black, hard-textured African teak, weighing half a ton.
