It is an ancient traditional folk game, in which a top is continuously tapped to make it spin. A top can be made of pottery, wood, bamboo or stone, but most are made of wood. The wooden top is a cone with iron nails or steel balls at its end. When playing, spin the top using a rope to release it to the ground, and then tap it with rope to make it rotate continuously.
