Details of Universal Beijing Resort hotels unveiled
The Universal Beijing Resort has unveiled the details of its two hotels -- The Universal Studios Grand Hotel and NUO Resort Hotel – as part of its warming-up efforts to the upcoming opening.
Located right at the entrance to the Universal Studios Beijing theme park, The Universal Studios Grand Hotel, as the world's first Universal-themed hotel, will immerse guests in Hollywood's Golden Age style.
For example, there is an aromatic orange blossom hotel fragrance that is reminiscent of California. Also, fans of movies will find posters decorating hotel interiors that showcase a vast collection of legendary Universal films from vintage classics to modern masterpieces, along with behind-the-scenes photos.
The hotel features 800 rooms and suites, including a few family-friendly themed accommodations inspired by DreamWorks Animation's beloved animated movie series, Kung Fu Panda.
The hotel's Universal Studios Red Dragon Lounge will offer drinks and laid-back meals, as well as California favorite Peet's Coffee for casual grab-and-go coffee and bites to refuel for the day's adventures.
The NUO Resort Hotel is designed to offer a luxurious escape inspired by the beauty of China's ancient royal gardens. Debuting as the first-ever resort hotel from NUO, one of the country's first homegrown luxury hotel brands, NUO Resort Hotel has 400 rooms and suites.
Visitors staying at the two hotels can enjoy early park admission to a selected area or attractions inside Universal Studios Beijing on the day of park visitation before the theme park opens to the public (with valid theme park admission) via an exclusive access entrance.
"We are proud to welcome guests for a stay at those two extraordinary hotels for a perfect complement for the theme park experience when we open," said Dorian Rommel, managing director of the resorts Hotel Management Branch."We're confident that the two hotels will embrace a new level of theme park hospitality that is beyond expectation, along with one-of-a-kind guest experiences and services, as well as create an ideal destination for an urban staycation."
