Overseas returnee targets poverty in Hunan
In the summer of 2016, Tao Pinru from Hunan province finished his undergraduate studies in Australia and was ready to return to China.
When he saw an online recruitment profile from the Chinese nonprofit organization Serve for China, he joined the new youth poverty alleviation campaign and came to Molao village in western Hunan.
This video, the second in our series The Flaming Happiness, shares his story of how he explored the specialty products of Molou village and made them as the core agricultural exports to help his hometown escape poverty. Check it out.
