Double Shadows, a contemporary art exhibition set to open at the Sky Line Museum in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, on July 6, brings together the work of eight artists from home and abroad who now study at the China Academy of Art.

The pieces on show reflect the multiple cultural backgrounds of the featured artists and discuss the exchanges and clashes they have to deal with as part of living and working in a cross-cultural environment — through which they address the issue of globalization.

The exhibition, which runs through Aug 5, hopes to evoke thoughts about cultural diversity among visitors.
