Chinese gamers pushing HP to innovate
Chinese e-gamers are pushing personal computer makers like HP to innovate and stand out of the crowd.
The US company on Tuesday unveiled what it claims to be the "world's first dual-screen design" to satisfy growing demand from over 619 million gamers in China.
With an additional screen above the keyboard, the product features real-time screen mirroring that can cut and magnify parts of the main display while gaming.
"Gaming is merely a game currently as it is becoming a new lifestyle. HP hopes to build a better gaming ecosystem and community to serve more gamers," said Zhuang Zhengsong, managing director at HP China.
Alex Cho, president of HP's personal systems business, added that rising demand from the world's biggest gaming market is also a consideration for HP as it pushes globalization and serves the gaming ecosystem.
