Beijing exhibition showcases Chinese, Japanese ink paintings

Chinese ink painting was introduced to Japan during the Edo period, and the style evolved over the years.
Over the past 36 years, the Beijing Fine Art Academy and the Southern Painting Academy of Japan have held 10 joint exhibitions to boost classic ink art exchanges between the two countries.
