2018 Happy Chinese New Year celebrations to open in Ethiopia

Also, the dance troupe of Ethiopian National Theatre held performances at the gala, showcasing the local ethnic characteristics. The Chinese Ambassador to Ethiopia Tan Jian attended the event and delivered a New Year speech.

On the evening of Feb 6, the Chinese embassy will hold a New Year reception at the Sheraton Hotel. UN officials, Chinese and Ethiopian officials will be invited to watch the show, enjoy Chinese food, and celebrate the Chinese Lunar New Year.
