Wang Zongxing Quartet

Wang Zongxing began his studies at the Xi'an Conservatory of Music. In 1997, he came to Beijing to study saxophone at Beijing Midi School. Since 1999, he has been a member of the Chinese Oriental Performing Group. In 2005, he became a professor at the Beijing Contemporary Music Academy. He has performed in many festivals, such as the Midi Festival and the Beijing Nine Gates Jazz Festival. In 2012, he moved to New York to study with Barry Harris, Antonio Hart, Michael Mossman, David Liebman and George Garzone, and released his first album "Mr. Wang" in 2015.
